Rosy Mag

Editorial Design

Autumn 2016

Rosy is a culture magazine with a focus on visual and literary art. I curated submissions by a collective of artists with the first issue focusing around themes of nostalgia and the concept of a utopic paradise. The idea was to explore the concept of utopia and what it means to be in our own personal vision of paradise.

The aesthetic goal behind Rosy was to create something light and meaningful. Working within the theme of nostalgia, I referenced a lot of vintage design styles, using a soft tone colour palette and elegant serif typefaces while still maintaining more contemporary layouts.
